I bet many of you have seen "Despicable Me, and of course you loved that tiny and funny yellow guys, minions. They were so great, that they will even get movie for themself - "Minions". But i will not tell you about the upcoming movie. I will tell you about the new Mega Bloks series, that has been debuted on NYCC (there was something except new Bionicle sets) - Despicable Me. If we look at Despicable Me Minions construction sets already presented we will see no other character, except minions, so we could make a guess, that this serie will be based on upcoming Minions film. The sets will be released in December, 2014 - January, 2015. Pretty soon.



If we look at set renders, minions seems to look pretty authentetic, beside their mimics. As with Hello Kitty, Mega Bloks must not match one minifigure format. It is bad, because we won't see the flexibility of Lego Minifigures, and it is good< because we will get Halo/CoD minifigures with right proportions and good articulation, and very authentitic Smurfs, Kitty, and... Minions. Anyone could choose? what he likes more.



I prefer LEGO minifigure format, but i won't decline the offer to get a pair of cute MegaBloks minions on my shelf. That's all i wanted to say.
